We are a community of 344 acres with 40 planned homesites. Our ranch home parcels are nestled in the beautiful Bradshaw Mountains near Mayer, Arizona. It is the perfect location for those who wish to build a second home, vacation property, or primary residence, and live a sustainable lifestyle in a horse-loving community. With so many choices, in plot size and construction, you can create the home of your dreams.
Our custom home plans are created by architect Candelaria Design, known for designing spectacular homes throughout Arizona. All houses at Silver Mountain Ranches are smartly designed for energy efficiency and sustainability or off the grid living.
You are free to choose one of our ranch house designs, as is, or have Candelaria modify and adapt plans to meet your wants and needs. You even have the option to custom design your house from scratch with your own architect or builder. Individuality is an important part of our community while keeping with a green approach.

Examples of Home Plan Options
Your floor plan may include alterations or additions to our model home plan. Click on an image below to view a full page sketch of optional modifications to your home design.
- Instead of a Jack and Jill bathroom (a shared bathroom between two bedrooms), you can choose ensuite bathrooms for the guest bedrooms.
- Add a fourth bedroom or casita (attached or detached) for guests or as an in-laws quarters. It can optionlly have a separate exterior entrance while still being accessible to the main living area.
- Add a large extra closet in the master bedroom.
- Update parking configuration to a 3-car garage or an RV garage.
Available parcels range from five up to fifteen acres. As a community, we require that you build, at minimum, a 1500 square foot home on your parcel. Choose your own builder or ask us for recommendations.
Eastern plots where the swimming pool and clubhouse are located have access to the electrical grid. However, they can take advantage of off grid opportunities as desired. The parcels on the west side of the community are completely solar and off the grid. These home designs should include installation of solar panels, propane appliances, and a back-up generator.
All homes are serviced by well water and septic tanks. The model home includes a unique cellar/basement feature that offers the opportunity to store water and canned/preserved food.
